My first attempt at using the tripod and cable release for a cycling event. Results variable.
I was marshalling so the camera couldn't be handheld since I was busy directing riders. It's worked well before in Durham parkrun
but cycling is a bit trickier. Bikes are faster and they take up more space. These are taken at St John's Chapel
, the turning point for the bike section of the Weardale Triathlon
. There are some good ones in here, but at 13:37 I made the mistake of changing from auto to manual focus on the camera. I'd have been better leaving the camera to make its own decisions.
